Joe Biden was recently ranked as the fourteenth-best president in U.S. History.
President Biden has accomplished more in four years than most presidents have done in eight years. Let us get him re-elected and we will probably see that he will be ranked near the top with Abraham Lincoln and Franklin Roosevelt.
I state the above because he is the only person who can stop Donald Trump from converting our Republic to an authoritarian state. History will see what many of us can not see today. The people who follow Trump perceive Trump to be the messiah who will correct all the wrongs that they perceive exist in our country. One cannot reason with them; we can only hope and pray that Trump’s defeat again will let them go back to where they were before, and maybe, if we are lucky, they will realize that they placed their faith in the wrong person.
If we are lucky; there will not be full-scale civil disobedience by the people who follow Trump. They would lose but don’t know it, just like the South knew they could not win a war with the North but started one with the hope that Europe would aid them. I know some of the people that adore Trump and they are good people, but for the blindness of not seeing what Trump is doing to this country.
I never thought I would see the day when Republicans would be rooting for Russia invading Europe or other countries.
We don’t need President Biden to be able to run up some stairs or look young and full of energy; we need him to keep doing what he has done for the last four years.
No one asks about Greg Abbott’s disability, and I bet that Joe Biden could beat Abbott running or walking.
