You don’t have the right to defend yourself, even if they are treating you as a punching bag. If you touch them, they consider it assault or resisting arrest, even if you were not being arrested. Record, record, record, and let the world know what kind of people some ICE agents are.
Inquiring minds want to know if that is a typical ICE agent?
Border Patrol agent dies while facing charges of drunkenly attacking Long Beach police The now-deceased agent was “off-duty, intoxicated and armed with a handgun” at a restaurant in Long Beach when he approached a woman in a restroom, according to a statement issued last month by the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office.
A U.S. Border Patrol agent who was arrested for drunkenly fighting Long Beach police last month was found dead in a Riverside County home on Friday, law enforcement officials said. The former ICE Agent was found dead at about 12:45 p.m. in a home in the 25000 block of Avocet Circle in an unincorporated area of Hemet on Aug. 22, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement.
“When deputies arrived, they located the male and pronounced him deceased. Deputies did not locate any evidence of foul play,” the statement read.
The former ICE Agent played a visible role in the Trump administration’s intensive immigration enforcement efforts in Southern California over the last few months.
He was involved in the controversial detention of Adrian Martinez, a U.S. citizen, who was accused on June 17 of interfering in immigration arrests at a Walmart in Pico Rivera, according to Martinez’s defense attorneys.
Agents rushed the 20-year-old and shoved him to the ground after he confronted them as they tried to arrest one of his co-workers. Video from the scene shows officers dragging Martinez to a truck. Although U.S. Atty. Bill Essayli publicly accused Martinez of assaulting an officer, video from the scene did not show Martinez striking anyone.
