Three people with Hispanic last names voted with the Republicans to deny government funding for transgender people. The Republican who introduced the Bill is Dan Crenshaw, the same person that our Mayor John Whitmire helped raise funds for.
Republicans are now rechallenging the two South Texas Democrats. I guess those people would be happier with two Republicans representing the two Congressional Districts. Why not work against the probable winner of another Congressional District, Bobby Pulido, who is running for a district now represented by Myra Flores, a Republican? I am sure that those three Republicans would be much more acceptable to those gays who want the Democrats who voted for the bill to be kicked out of the Democratic Party.
The Gays could get their wish if they keep it up, and Cuellar could decide to switch sides after he wins. He owes Trump for the pardon.
Don’t know why the gays did not give Crenshaw credit; did they see MTG as being much more toxic?

Three Democrats crossed party lines yesterday to vote for Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-GA) bill to ban gender-affirming care for trans youth, and the party needs to kick them out. Reps. Henry Cuellar (D-TX), Vincente Gonzalez Jr (D-TX), and Don Davis (D-NC) all voted alongside 213 Republicans yesterday to pass Greene’s anti-trans bill. If they had not voted for it, it would not have passed.
Yes, Rep. Sarah McBride (D-DE) is generally right that the party needs to be a “big tent” and allow some ideological diversity. But there are some lines that should not be crossed, and this is one of them.
To verify what was posted above, I searched for another source, and I found it.
The measure passed 215-201, with all opposition coming from Democrats. All Republicans who voted approved the bill.
Four Democrats voted for the bill: Reps. Henry Cuellar, D-Texas, Vicente Gonzalez, D-Texas, Don Davis, D-N.C., and Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, D-Wash.
