I have to throw myself into that too-stupid group.
I have already spent over an hour looking at election results from across the nation. The following quote made me realize that Hispanics are paying attention, and enough of them vote to swing elections. The following quote opened my eyes.
Pretty clearly, many Americans now believe that they were lied to. My guess (we’ll know more in a few days) is that this is especially true for Hispanic voters, who swung to Trump believing that he would deliver prosperity and are swinging hard back to Democrats now that he hasn’t. I should have known better. I come from a neighborhood where working and providing for family are always top priorities. I saw a chart a few weeks ago that indicated that the Democratic Party is now the party of the elites. The roles of the Democrats and Republicans have flipped. Democrats now represent the more educated, higher-earning people in America. The lower-income and less educated Americans now support the Republicans. There are always exceptions.
Keep in mind that Hispanics consider themselves White. We are not Black or Asian. Well, most of us come in all shades.

Trump and his Storm Troopers have started opening the eyes of many Hispanics, that we are not white enough for them. When millionaire white-looking celebrities have to start carrying their passports, it starts opening eyes.
So Democrats don’t think that you have somehow solved the messaging problem. Instead, send a bigly thank you note to Donald J Trump for opening swing voters’ eyes.
