Council Member Pollard continues to stand up for Hispanics.

The coconuts that we have as elected officials continue to act like the coconuts that they are. Too scared of maybe losing constituents or the big money givers. I wish that they could grow some juevos and say something. Those coconuts are precisely the type of Democrats that the Raza Unida spoke against.

Coconut

To call a Hispanic, especially one with Mexican roots, is a derogatory term. It suggests that one is brown on the outside and white on the inside. LULAC once preached that if we Mexicans would only learn to speak English and adopt the White culture, we would be accepted as White. They were wrong, maybe that is why it is only a mere shell of what it used to be.

What can I say, I am old and have not awakened yet. I ain’t Woke.

Council Member Edward Pollard

Council Member again stands up for one of his constituents who was assaulted and abused by Trump’s masked hoodlums.

Also last month, the temporary detention of a U.S. citizen teenager by federal agents prompted Council Member Edward Pollard to release a statement condemning the arrest. The 16-year-old, Arnoldo Bazan, told reporters he was assaulted by masked agents when they attempted to pull him and his father over during an enforcement action.

“Immigration enforcement should prioritize those who are dangerous and bring harm to our community, not families, regardless of status, that contribute to our city and have added to the vibrant diversity that we are proud to claim,” Pollard said. “And yes, I know it is a crime to be here illegally … but we seem not to press when people are busing our tables, changing our hotel sheets, constructing our homes, farming our lands, etc.”

The Coconuts —they are like the three monkeys: see nothing, hear nothing, say nothing. What the hell are they good for? Let me list the hear nothings, the say nothing, the see nothings.

Armando Walle, who made a big scene about a bill that passed the Texas House of Representatives. Where are you, Walle? If the camera is not on, you ain’t interested? I am sure that you will use the clip below to tell the gente what a fighter for Hispanics you are.

There is Mario Castro, who couldn’t even get himself to vote against a homeless shelter in his district. Maybe you are like that council member who used to represent District I, who proudly stated his goal was to help the gay community; that would be Robert Gallegos. How well did the gay community help him when he ran for mayor?

There is Joaquin Martinez, District I. What a waste of a first name, one of the best-known fighters for Mexicans, Joaquin Murrieta.

Julian Ramirez, at-large 1 council member, a MAGA, would not expect him to say anything, probably cheering ICE on.

Alejandra Salinas, while not in office, is running for an at-large position., I would have expected her to say something and get some free publicity. But she has made it a priority to help the gay community and has the gay community’s strong backing.

Other Hispanics that are coconuts in my book, Lina Hidalgo, Leslie Briones, Adrian Garcia, Penny Shaw, Mary Ann Perez, Carol Alvardo, Sylvia Garcia, Christina Morales, and Ana Hernandez. More lower-level coconut elected officials are like the three monkeys.
