The mention of eating of Jeffrey Dahmer is the fact that he ate his victims.
Milwaukee Cannibal or the Milwaukee Monster,[4] was an American serial killer and sex offender who killed and dismembered seventeen men and boys between 1978 and 1991.[5]
Dahmer committed his first murder in Ohio in 1978; he did not resume killing until 1987. The modus operandi for many of his later crimes involved him luring a victim to his Wisconsin apartment, where they would be drugged, sexually assaulted, and murdered. Many of his later murders involved necrophilia,[6] cannibalism, and the permanent preservation of body parts—typically all or part of the skeleton.

Do you think stating someone is corrupt is enough to get their votes?
When nearly 80% of Americans believe all politicians are at least partially corrupt, do you think calling Paxton corrupt is going to move many people? I don’t.
When you think that pointing out that Paxton cheats on his wife is going to convince people, it is enough to turn many people away from him. I don’t, almost 70% of Americans believe spouses cheat on each other, and certainly watching movies or TV, that perception is to be believed.
Somehow, Democrats have convinced themselves that Paxton is vulnerable because he is corrupt and cheats on his wife. He loses some votes from non-diehard MAGAs, but probably not enough to turn Texas Blue.
Polling, for what it is worth, shows Paxton is behind Talarico among Latinos, but a Latina (Gina Hinojosa) is not leading by the same margin with Latinos as Talarico is. Go figure that out, unless many of the Latino men don’t like voting for women.
In a mid-April Texas Public Opinion Research poll of a hypothetical general election matchup, Talarico led Paxton by 27 points among Latino voters and 25 points among independents.
WHY IS THE LATINO VOTE SO IMPORTANT
The Latino voters tend to be swing voters; they are not tied at the hips to any particular party. It was always so; the Democrats just started taking them for granted as votes for Democrats, and that gave the Republicans a wide road in. Koch brothers spent millions targeting Latinos throughout the United States.
The Koch brothers’ political network targets Latino voters primarily through The LIBRE Initiative, a conservative nonprofit group that promotes free-market principles, limited government, and civic engagement. [1, 2]
Key strategies and ongoing initiatives include:
- The “One Small Step” Campaign: A seven-figure nationwide campaign aimed at connecting Latinos to American founding principles, free enterprise, and smaller government in the lead up to the country’s 250th anniversary. [1, 2]
- Soft-Touch Outreach: Rather than strictly focusing on campaign rhetoric, the group builds grassroots goodwill by offering practical community services. This includes providing English classes, tax preparation assistance, wellness checkups, and food giveaways. [1, 2, 3]
- Economic Messaging: The network actively runs campaigns criticizing current economic policies and regulations (such as “Bidenomics”), arguing that big-government spending and high taxes disproportionately hurt Hispanic-owned businesses and families. [1, 2, 3]
- Political Endorsements: Through its super PAC network, Americans for Prosperity, the Koch network regularly partners with the group to endorse conservative candidates in tightly contested congressional race.
John F Kennedy came to Houston and visited with Latinos, but some of the Democrats running statewide can’t get themselves to do the same.
On November 21, 1963, President John F. Kennedy and First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy made a historic stop in Houston to attend a League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) gala at the Rice Hotel. It is widely considered the first time a sitting U.S. president officially acknowledged Latinos as a significant political voting bloc.
Where are Talarico’s first stops?

In fact, Talarico never fails to surprise me. He made a campaign stop in Houston at a place that is normally used by Gay people. Why not give the Republicans more fodder to attack one with?
