Republican Coconut says Latinos will see the light one day.
November 1, 2026
“If we keep the Congress, what do we get?” Echavarria said. The woman, confused, said she didn’t know. “You get $5,000,” he responded, mentioning President Donald Trump’s promise if Republicans held on to the U.S. House of Representatives and the Senate. The woman seemed pleased with the possibility that she could get some extra cash in her pockets and said she’d support the people on the leaflet that had all the GOP candidates’ faces and names.
As he walked across the lawn, Echavarria, who had knocked on over three dozen doors already, said that was his “carrot,” and was confident that it had worked on the voter.
… In South Texas, Republican canvassers like Echavarria are fanning out across the Rio Grande Valley – from the major cities including Harlingen, McAllen and Brownsville, to the smaller towns such as Peñitas and La Joya.
Still, some are worried about holding on to the gains that were made by Republicans in the past, saying the process of converting the Hispanic vote still has a long way to go.
“It’s going to take time for the Hispanic community to see the light,” Echavarria said.
The only light those coconuts will see is the light the fire of hell gives off, because those lying SOBs will be living there for eternity, no matter how many times they say “I believe in Jesus.”
Those coconuts spreading lies to innocents will find that this life is short, but the one that follows is eternal.
There is a difference between the old Republican Party and the Present MAGA Party. A big difference.
I used to be a Republican precinct chair. But now I would not vote for anyone who has an R in front of their name, or in non-partisan elections, if they are Republican primary voters. I am a fiscal conservative and a social conservative. Here in Houston, I was against the HERO Ordinance.
This is what the LGBTQ+ Victory Fund wrote about me:
One of Mike’s opponents, Manny Barrera, holds the support and was encouraged to run by anti-LGBTQ activist Dave Wilson, a member of the Houston Area Pastor Council, who helps funds the anti-HERO campaign. This group has called openly gay Houston Mayor Annise Parker a “sodomite” and has labeled LGBTQ people as “forces of spiritual darkness.” Source
I don’t think there should be abortions, but it is not for me to judge; Christ can sort all that out.
Trump, Abbott, and the rest of the MAGA party are a danger to the Hispanic community; they will ride you the way we ride bicycles, but when they don’t need our community, they will dispose of us the way we dispose of used bicycles no longer needed.
I have never been an advocate for immigration; to the contrary, I have a lifelong aversion to people coming here illegally. They affect the jobs that many Hispanics do. There is a belief that migrant workers became migrant workers because the farmers brought people over from Mexico who would do the work for less than the citizens of this country. Thus, they were forced to travel in search of jobs that would allow them to support their families.
Let us be honest neither one of the parties wants to tackle the problem of Illegal immigration. But, it is much more likely to happen if the Democrats controlled both houses and the presidency. I have never been in favor of illegal immigration. I have seen American Citizens who have their jobs taken away because those people will do the jobs for less money. It is not uncommon to see first, and second-generation Latinos who disapprove of illegal immigration, even though they or their parents came here illegally. That is one of the reasons that Trump did fairly well down in the Rio Grande Valley.
I was a teenager when the farmer workers from the valley went on strike. The landowners would bring Mexicans to work the fields. Starting at age six or seven, every summer, I would go with my grandparents and pick cotton. I know what it was like to work from sunup to sundown, stooped over dragging a sack to could weigh up to one hundred pounds.
