Many of our Latinos are risk-takers; a considerable percentage start small businesses, such as restaurants, construction companies, or taco trucks. Many of those small businesses suffered immensely during COVID. Democrats need to reach out to them. Because of the mask mandate, they lost almost everything. Did we feel sorry for them?
Please don’t talk to me about abortion, gay rights, or democracy when I am having problems providing for my family. Democrats don’t listen to the working people that they need to win.
Democrats made the mistake of treating Latinos as a monolithic group, focusing on social justice issues while failing to address economic concerns that were pushing these voters toward the GOP.
