Univision and the self-deport ad

One has to wonder how close Univision is working with the Trump administration.

Apparently, many Univision employees were unhappy with the TV company running those ads.

Spanish-language TV networks Telemundo and Univision have aired DHS ads urging people in the U.S. illegally to leave. That has angered staff at Univision, who are already worried that the network is covering Trump too timidly. 

Mexico to vote on prohibiting the self-deportation ad from running in Mexico.

The current commercials, however, look more like political ads. They feature video of Trump giving speeches, signing orders and saluting military officers. In a voice-over for one ad, Noem asserts that the United States previously had “weak leadership” on the border, “flooding our communities with drugs, human trafficking and violent criminals.”

Mexican President, all bark and no bite, the president of Mexico claimed that they would fast-track a law to prohibit the ad from airing in Mexico. Thus far, I have not found anything to suggest that it was done.
