I will be honest, I’m not sure how car seats and child care could influence people’s decision to have children. Maybe women don’t want to have children for many reasons, including that it would affect their life choices. MAGAs are not known for being overly bright, but if they bother to read, they would find that even those who have children are waiting much later in life to do so. Do they want the government to obligate women to bear children? Do they want baby machines? If MAGAs read, they could maybe find that the average age for being able to afford a house is now near 40.
What is the purpose of having a child if one is going to pay someone else to raise them? Maybe we could force the grandparents to take care of those babies; often, that is what happened in the past when the woman did not have to work to make ends meet.
MAGAs will be MAGAs.
