Did Texas give Corpus Christi $750,000,000? NO!
Based on what I found online, Governor Abbott lied, but lying comes easily to MAGAs. It was a loan. Has the city spent the money? I don’t think so, but I could not find out. Corpus already has one of the highest water rates in Texas. They were talking about it going up by 50%, if they said 50% expect closer to 100% increase in water rate for the people who live there. The industrial plants will continue to get much cheaper water rates.
