There is White America and then there is everyone else.

America the beautiful.

MAGAs are determined to pick up as many Black and Brown people as they can to deport. This is their last hurrah. They won’t succeed in turning American White again. They have forgotten how to make babies, and even if they know they don’t want to sacrifice for them. They want to have their fun. They want jobs that pay them well without requiring them to sacrifice the ability to do the jobs properly.

That is why our country is in the throes of becoming, at best, a second-rate country, but in all likelihood, a third-rate country. We have primarily white men who are so stupid, but they are running our country. When things go wrong, they blame the few white racist women that they had in the cabinet. I expect that Patel, that dark-looking Indian, not too long ago may have been considered in the caste of the untouchables.

I don’t think white men like seeing Patel with a white woman by his side.

I don’t give Patel more than two months before he is ousted and replaced, probably by a least qualified white man.

In India, colorism and the caste system are intricately linked, often associating lighter skin with higher social status and darker skin with lower castes, historically and socially. While the varna system traditionally implies “color” or “category,” modern interpretations often argue that the correlation between skin tone and caste is a complex mix of historical social disparities and colorism, rather than a purely racial division. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Core Aspects of Color and Caste in India:

  • Varna and Color: The term varna (often translated as caste or category) has roots in ancient texts and is sometimes interpreted as a color-based system, with early distinctions made between light-skinned Aryan invaders and dark-skinned Dravidians, though modern studies suggest a more complex mingling.
  • Hierarchical Associations: Higher-caste individuals (e.g., Brahmins) have traditionally been associated with fairer skin, while lower-caste individuals (such as Dalits or Shudras) are often darker-skinned, a distinction linked to occupation and historical power structures.

The term “white people” was nonexistent until it was determined that creating a permanent underclass was essential to the economic and societal supremacy of a growing nation.  So, Europeans coming to America, who had never called themselves white men until 1676, were told that, for their survival, it was necessary.

Punishment, separation of families, and death became an appropriate tool of control for anyone who was not white and who dared challenge the status quo.  Imagine your survival being threatened for the mere offense of looking a white person in the eye (reckless eyeballing) and daring not to avert your gaze a second longer than was deemed acceptable.  For the alleged offense of admiring a white woman, fourteen-year-old Emmett Till was tortured, beaten, shot, and drowned. His corpse, when recovered, was so unrecognizable that onlookers at his funeral fainted and/or became physically ill at the sight.  This is not ancient history.  When the uncle who helped raise me returned from World War II, there were parts of America where he was prohibited from voting.  The mantle of the old southern Democrats (Dixiecrats) was picked up by the current Republican Party, which is cheering the de facto dissolution of the Voting Rights Act.

I don’t expect the racist MAGA party to succeed, and things will start getting better, and our country will truly become the melting pot of the world.

All the Hyphenated Americans will become just Americans.
