On the latest edition of “What’s Your Point?”, we handicapped key upcoming races in Harris County with Commentator Bill King predicting incumbent Democrats Adrian Garcia and Lesley Briones, as they were well-liked by the Republicans.

That is not surprising, as I have been stating for quite a while that both of them are MAGA lite, just like John Whitmire. How do they manage to do that as MAGAs while keeping the support of Democrats? Easy to buy or give positions to the activist in the Democratic Party, depending on political jobs, to keep food on the table. That is how John Whitmire keeps the working mouths of the Hispanic community praising his accomplishments, even when there is nothing to praise.

The Democrats do the same thing, which is why things never seem to get better for the people who want to raise a family by working and contributing to society.

Don’t assume that the Republicans, however, are going to do nothing to unseat both Briones and Garcia.

The system does not change; only which politician gets rich while in office does. There are exceptions, but not many.
