A day ago, I wrote about the first four episodes of Runaway.
I finished the series yesterday, and overall it was good to almost very good. The ending was good, but not so much. In my opinion, it went just a bit too far unless they intend to follow with a sequel. Most of the good guys don’t get killed, most of the bad guys get caught. There is enough that one can still not be sure about what is happening, those twists and turns that keep one guessing. At least that is how I approach those types of movies or series. I am presuming that many others are the same, as one police officer in “The Closer,” a series on Netflix, said, “I have been waiting all my police years to say, ‘The butler did it.”
Runaway left me with an intriguing question that I will probably never come across:
If you found that a close friend or relative had unknowingly murdered their own child, would you tell them?
Spoiler alert if you have not seen the series.
