I would not be surprised that the third shoe that falls on Trump comes from the Supreme Court. They are more intelligent than the senators and congressmen/women. They must realize that if they make Trump King, a King has no need for a Court or a Congress.
The first shoe that fell is Judge Cannon denying the extension of time to Trump.
The second shoe that fell is the verdict of over $350 million in penalties for civil fraud and Trump cannot manage his property in New York for three years.
Trump’s two sons were also fined $4 million each.
As to the Trump cultists there is no cure for stupidity.
“This is a venial sin, not a mortal sin,” the judge wrote, referring to the two Catholic categories of wrongdoing, the first being minor offenses and the second being grave offenses to God. “Defendants did not commit murder or arson. They did not rob a bank at gunpoint. Donald Trump is not Bernard Madoff. Yet defendants are incapable of admitting the error of their ways.”
Engoron went on to say it was not his job to “judge morality” but simply to “find facts and apply the law.” In this case, he said, “the Court intends to protect the integrity of the financial marketplace and, thus, the public as a whole.”
Trump and his company’s refusal to admit any error means that “they will engage in it going forward unless judicially restrained,” the judge concluded.
