Houston illegal dumping, John Whitmire, the County Judge, and the Commissioners are making Houston uglier.

In many parts of Houston, heavy trash pickup has been erratic. We have no idea when they are coming. When they come, there is no guarantee that they will pick up all the heavy trash. We have streets where they picked up some properties but not others. What makes things worse for the neighborhood is that we have quite a few empty properties that were bought out due to flooding. So, some people have decided it is much more convenient to place their heavy trash in the vacant lots. The county is not a steward when it comes to the basics of helping Houston’s citizens. Never mind that Houston does not receive county services, such as those provided by the city.

We can complain often, but the trash dumped on county property will remain there unless the City comes to pick it up.

The country, through which we don’t give a shit about you all, and the city, not having the money to pick up heavy trash as it used to, have resulted in people doing what they do: dumping illegally in vacant properties that the county has created.

So the city and/or county is putting up signs; it would be better if they put up cameras. They get caught dumping, are issued a hefty fine, and, if they can’t pay, the vehicle they used to transport the trash is confiscated.

John Whitmire, the County Judge, and the Commissioners are making Houston uglier.
