Other than Shawn Thierry, the other candidates do not indicate that they had any money to report in July last year. If they just filed, they must raise some money quickly or put money from their pockets. It takes money to campaign; people don’t like to donate their time; they want to get paid. Printers will not give you the paper, ink, and labor. Plus, some endorsements will cost you money.
I don’t expect as many primary voters as in 2020, but one never knows in Presidential Election years. Ten thousand voters are about 7500 households.
