I was reading an article in MSNBC regarding DACA, and I came across the following;
Karime Rodriguez, a former DACA holder who now has legal residency, said there is disillusionment in the community that once again a president has not been able to make immigration reform happen.
“We know the candidates are not ideal now,” said Rodriguez, immigration services manager with LUCHA immigrant advocacy group.
“We are not voting for our saviors,” she said. “You have to vote for the candidate that is going to allow us to make change in the future — Trump is not that candidate.” Source
Are they voting for our saviors? Even if one believes in Christ as a savior, thinking is not sufficient to get one into heaven. These DREAMERS need to get their behinds out and start getting people who support them to vote and to vote for Democrats, no exceptions. Only when the Trump worshippers see that they can’t win will their attitude change. I am a Democratic Precinct Chair, and I often talk to the children of undocumented and ask the children to go vote. Well, when I check to see who voted in the precinct, it no longer surprises me that they did not vote.
Blaming President Biden for not being able to make immigration possible only shows their ignorance of how our government functions. Did they not notice that a Federal Judge stopped new persons from joining the program? Did they notice that it must be passed by both the Congress and the Senate? Are they that dense?
