The mayor’s spokesperson claims that Whitmire had no malicious intent. While that may be true, it could also be pure pettiness and wishing that he was as well-liked as she is.
Doesn’t the Mayor of Houston have anything better to do than follow Lina Hidalgo’s Facebook account? Doesn’t he have something good that former Mayor Turner did that he wants to undo or take credit for?
The mayor should grow a pair. If he posted the comment, he should have had balls enough not to delete it.
If Whitmire and Hidalgo were friends, it may have been a friendly tease, but they do not go to the same bar to drink or associate with the same people. Whitmire prefers MAGA cultists to hang around with.
