I just received my homeowner’s insurance notice; my insurance went up more than ten percent (10%). I feel good that the churches also have to pay much higher insurance. The reason for that is that maybe, just maybe, the MAGAs that control Texas will do something to slow down the cost of insurance.
The dynamics that have led to skyrocketing homeowners insurance premiums across the state — extreme weather, inflation-driven construction prices — are also affecting Texas houses of worship, some of which have lost their property coverage or are paying higher premiums for less coverage. Source
