Here is the article where I indicated that my wife and I were considering not voting this November.
In 2016 I made a promise to myself after the nomination of the now-convicted felon and rapist that I would never vote for anyone with an R in front of their name. I will keep that promise, but it is not a promise that I would vote for a D running against the R.
I still have not decided whether to vote for any candidates, but I will cast a no-vote against the HISD Bond Proposal in November.
However, I have donated money to the Harris for President campaign and encourage anyone who cares about this country to do likewise.
I must think hard about voting for anyone the Tejano Democrats have endorsed. People buy their endorsement, and the group sells themselves about caring for the Latino community. They are not the only group that endorses based on how many memberships were bought before voting.
Any Democrat that this blogger is promoting has a good chance that they will not get my vote.
I am still not happy about the overt discrimination against Biden because of his age. There was nothing fair and balanced about what the media was doing, but the media has had a history of not being fair and balanced. The Democratic leadership stood silently by as the media devastated Joe Biden, one of the best presidents in history. As an example, the County Democratic leader wasted no time endorsing Kamala Harris but never came out for President Biden and challenged what the media was doing.
As someone who lived through the 1950s, I don’t fear losing anything if Trump were to win. Younger people do, so they need to make sure that they get the young people to go out and vote; after all, maybe these old legs don’t want to stand in line for a long period of time. Voting by mail ain’t going to happen; my eyesight is not what it used to be
My great-great-grandfather is in the 1880 census, and so is my great-grandfather. My grandfather was not born yet but is in the 1900 census.
Why the post how long my family has been here, because if the fascists (Trump) wins it may make a big difference. Recent citizen could be deported.
