It can be attacking a Catholic non-profit, an immigrant rights non-profit, LULAC, or families of mixed citizens and non-citizens. Satan never rests.
When I call the Republican Party the Party of Satan, I am sincere in that statement. Only Satan’s disciples would call an autistic child “blubbering b—h boy.” or weird for shedding tears of joy for his father, or question Walz’s manhood because he held his son’s hand. As the father of an autistic child, protecting him is the most important job I have. Those who complain are hateful, barbaric idiots who are not born but hatch from eggs and crawl out of the rock from which they hatched.
Immigration
Before the primary season started, I wrote about immigration and how the Democrats were going to have to take a tough stand on stopping the flow of people coming across the border. I did not believe that the economy, including inflation, would be the top issue the Republicans could rely on. When over 70% of voters think that the illegal flow of immigrants must stop, then the Democrats have to take a tough stand.
The Republicans are not serious about removing all the undocumented. If they were, they would make E-Verify the law of the land as it was supposed to be. Everyone who hires someone should have to E-Verify all the persons they hire. That would include agricultural workers and landscapers, with no exceptions. It won’t happen, especially in a state like Texas; they love their cheap labor.
In the lawsuit to prevent the parole in place for mixed marriages, the lawsuit states;
Because the program beneficiaries will be entitled to work authorization, those additional workers “will drive down the wages of Texas residents, directly harming the State and its citizens,” the lawsuit says.
I will have to wait to see how Texas can prove the above statement, as it won’t legally lower raises for people here.
So the Democrats did what they had to do to win; there are too many rights that could be lost if Trump were to become president again.
In a change of strategy, the Democrats have in recent days decided that it will be more effective for them to portray themselves as tough on migration than trying to debunk Trump’s lies about an alleged wave of “migrant crime.”
In her DNC speech, Harris presented herself as a former prosecutor who fought against foreign criminals, and blamed Trump for killing a bipartisan bill in Congress that contained strong measures to protect the border.
“Trump believes a border deal would hurt his campaign, so he ordered his allies in Congress to kill the deal,” she said.
The Democrats have probably concluded that, with 77% of Americans saying in a Pew Research poll that the border situation is a “crisis” or a “major problem,” there’s no time left before the elections to convince voters that Trump is peddling falsehoods about migrants.
