DeSantis: Let us pray Hurricane Milton is as weak as possible.
Milton has proven that God has not made MAGA the party of God.
I don’t believe that God gets involved with our politics, and I don’t think that if all the people in Florida prayed for Hurricane Milton to turn around and hit either Texas or Louisiana, Milton would do so.
But if I were to believe anything, I would think that my prayers asking God not to send Milton here were much more potent than those coming out of Florida. We just got through Beryl, and being without power for ten days was sufficient punishment for Texans for voting for Trump. Maybe I just got lucky, as praying to win those big Power Ball and Mega jackpots hasn’t produced any results.
I need to figure out how to create a prayer in which calamities touch only those homes where the Republicans voters are, like the blood on the doors in the story of Moses.
