The question of which came first, the chicken or the egg was answered when I watched a Netflix program, Life On Our Planet. The reptile came first, and the chick evolved from them. Reptiles had been laying eggs for millions of years. Birds are what is left of the dinosaurs.
However, after running some numbers on District G and seeing how many Republican votes Whitmire received, I wondered if Whitmire approached the Republicans some time ago about getting their support. That would explain Whitmire’s attempt to help the Republicans by attacking Judge Lina Hidalgo. John Whitmire received seventy-seven (77%) percent of District G’s vote compared to Jackson-Lee votes. Republicans like to point out that blacks support blacks, which is true, but it sure looks like whites like to vote for whites, also. Those progressive whites from the Heights and Meyerland also went with the white guy.
If progressives like Ken Paxton’s way of doing things, they will like John Whitmire just as much.
