Out of the mouth of babes. I am beginning to think that Greg Abbott is aiming for VP. I believe his goal is to be a candidate in November against President Biden. This morning as I read the news from across the nation, I found the following:
Rep. Mike Collins (R-GA) caused a blowup on the social media site X on Thursday following a post in which he suggested immigrants should be given rides on “Pinochet Air” — a reference to a Chilean dictator whose armed forces tossed kidnapped dissidents out of helicopters on “death flights” over the Pacific Ocean. Here in Texas they are found dead and often not identified, leaving no closure for the families of the people that tried to better their lives.
I would not put it past Greg Abbott, through either his actions or inactions, to be responsible for many of the deaths. Didn’t he state that if he had them kill the “Illegals,” he could be charged with murder, suggesting that is why he did not order it?
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott on Friday defended his comment that the state is doing everything it can to stop people from crossing the border illegally, short of shooting them.
On Jan. 5, Abbott said on the radio show of right-wing conservative Dana Loesch that Texas is using every tool and strategy possible to stop people at the border.
“The only thing we are not doing is we’re not shooting people who come across the border, because, of course, the Biden administration would charge us with murder,” Abbott said. Source
