Best Qualified is an opinion that I, Meme, formed after researching all the candidates with opponents. In one case, I went with the person who has the best chance to defeat Ted Cruz, in my opinion.
One can go to the “Search” and type any names to get more information on a particular candidate. I will continue to update as more information becomes available.
For the most part, I chose the incumbent, to quote a famous Texas Longhorn coach, “Dance with who brung ya.” The incumbents have shown that they can win against Republicans. The exception to picking incumbents was too many negative things online regarding the incumbent.
The sample ballot is for precinct 425 but covers all the state and county-wide races: State Rep 146, Constable Pct 5, School Board at-large 3.
If only one person is running, they will win unless someone mounts one heck of a write-in vote.
