Why did they leave them out?
This group, known as “Dreamers,” had been a top priority for Democrats in immigration policy talks for more than a decade.
But as Republicans made new border restrictions a condition of aid for U.S. allies Ukraine and Israel sought by Democratic President Joe Biden, the Dreamers question was left off the table.
Dick Durbin, the No. 2 Senate Democrat, said that at the onset of the just-concluded talks Republicans rejected his plea to include the Dreamers.
“There are members on the other side that have the position of not one single immigrant under any circumstances,” Durbin said in an interview.
Some Republican lawmakers said it was unlikely Congress would take up the question of the Dreamers at any time in the foreseeable future.

This year in November, DREAMERs have a chance to do something for themselves.
Many of them have family members who are citizens but don’t vote. Convince your relatives and friends to go vote and to vote for Democrats only.
Many of the people here temporarily, TPS, have been here so long that they have children born here who are now old enough to vote. Get your children to vote for Democrats only.
Why would anyone here temporarily or illegally who does not do anything to help themselves expect others to care? Do you think the Trump voters care? They don’t. What they are scared of is that all your children and relatives who can vote will start voting and vote them out. That is why they are so desperate to deport people who are undocumented. They don’t want to take the chance that you can fix your problem by voting.
I know this family that both parents are undocumented. They have four children over the age of eighteen (18), all citizens. Three of them are registered to vote but have never cast a vote. I tried to convince them so often to no avail that I gave up asking them to vote.
This November, if undocumented or TPS can convince enough of their relatives and friends to vote and turn Texas Blue for at least this year, it would send a loud message that will be heard worldwide.
