The word suspended is misspelled in the headline. Couldn’t help myself pointing that out.
There have been no indications that the crimes were not reported to the crime database. How old were the cases when they were coded? To many unanswered questions about what it means if anything?
My personal opinion is that the police union probably in alliance with John Whitmire are looking to replace the police chief who just happens to be Black and rumor has it that a Latina or Latino within the ranks will be the new police chief. Too many coincidences for me. Long time Democrats endorsing Republicans for city council, Robert Gallegos for example. Many LULAC leaders endorsing Republicans for city council.
Many years ago I would tell people that a Latino/Republican alliance in Houston made sense for the Latino community. It still does as the Latino community is at the bottom of the barrel in Houston and Harris County political power structure.
Is John Whitmire working with the Republicans in an attempt to create a new political alignment?
