We have raised our grandson, and he came to me to say he wanted to add shelves to his closet. So, I will spend time working on that with him and take a little time off from posting as often as I have. The wood certainly has not gone back to pre-Trump days. His tariffs on lumber from Canada are still there.
I also recently reached a milestone of having lived for three-quarters of a century. I rewarded myself with a desktop computer. My desktop is almost ten years old, and it struggles with many of the programs I have on there. I have told people I don’t celebrate getting old but will have a party when I am 100.
I created a new bucket list and did everything that had been my goal since I was young. I did not make it to Machu Picchu. The new bucket list is to outlive certain people, and I have already seen three of them kick the bucket. In my opinion, they are not there if there is a heaven.
Today, we intend to install a shelf above the desk we built together last summer.
