Over two hundred thousand new jobs in June, one of the best economies in over fifty years, and they don’t want an “Old” man responsible for getting more done in four years than most presidents do in eight years, including Obama. To hell with the Democratic Party. If Biden is on top of the ticket, I will vote and encourage others to vote, but if Biden is not there, I won’t be affected by a Trump presidency; I lived under such conditions in the 50s and 60s. The Sanders supported helped Trump in 2016 by staying home; why can’t others do the same now?
If that is how the Democratic Party treats its old people, then it does not deserve my vote. I will not waste time voting for a party that is only slightly better than the Trump Party. At least Republicans care about their “Convicted Felon Old Man.”
Today, I resigned as a Democratic Precinct Chair and will no longer attend the Southwest Democrats. This year will be the last year I will be a member. I was disgusted with them when about half of them wore John Whitmire for Mayor T-shirts.
