I can say that she has six years for the Jewish people to forget what she said—no more arms for Israel.
Democratic State Senator Candidate Molly Cook decided to poke the bear. She took a stand for people, all people, and failed to defend the actions of Israel.
“As an American, I feel a deep moral responsibility to question how our tax-dollars are spent,” Cook said Saturday. “As a public health nurse and elected official, I cannot stay silent while the United States facilitates the indiscriminate bombing and starvation of an entire population. I continue to grieve alongside our neighbors, and I stand by my statement. I extend my deepest condolences to all who have lost loved ones in Israel and Palestine and to everyone still hoping their loved ones will come home.”
Pronin said the statement came after two previous events that raised eyebrows in the Jewish community. He said Cook previously didn’t condemn the Oct. 7 attacks after they happened and she didn’t respond to an invitation to watch a documentary on the Oct. 7 attacks at the Houston Holocaust Museum.
Jewish people can’t take criticism even when it may be right. The holocaust, the holocaust, the holocaust.
There have been numerous times when an entire race or nationality of people was completely wiped out. But we tend to only hear and see one of the most recent ones, the holocaust.
It is estimated that during the initial Spanish conquest of the Americas, up to eight million indigenous people died, primarily through the spread of Afro-Eurasian diseases, wars, and atrocities.[58][59][full citation needed][60] The population of Indigenous Americans is estimated to have decreased from approximately 145 million to around 7-15 million between the late 15th and late 17th centuries, representing a decline of around 90-95%.[61]
Mistreatment and killing of Native Americans continued for centuries, in every area of the Americas, including the areas that would become Canada, the United States, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Chile. In the United States, some scholars (examples listed below) state that the American Indian Wars and the doctrine of manifest destiny contributed to the genocide, with one major event cited being the Trail of Tears.
The link above has numerous instances of genocide by nations that some of you will never read about in our history of the world.
