I don’t know why the Chronicle does that. The only question one should ask is whether there is a D or an R before the name.
If you think that the Republican (MAGA) party is the party that should interpret the law, then vote for the R. If you believe that the law matters, look no further than the Supreme Court of the United States to see that Republican Judges are not arbitrators of justice or the rule of law. The law is what they say it is.
The MAGA Party likes to point out that Democrats are soft on crime, and yet they have a convicted felon at the top of their ticked.
Vote Smart: Vote for honest lawyers who will not bend the rules based on the party to which either the defendant or the attorney belongs. Vote for Democrats if you believe justice should be the same for all. Having written that two or three Democrats are running for a judge that I would hesitate to vote for.
