The argument centered on the fact that when the county sought a tax increase to allocate additional funds for pay raises to constables and other county employees, the two MAGA representatives refused to attend, thereby halting the vote. Ramsey was one of those two.
The county could emulate MAGA mayor Whitmire by pushing a budget that is not balanced, but that is not a wise thing to do.
Do we want to have the City and County in debt because they buy things that they don’t have the money for?
If the toll money surplus, if there is any, can be used, then use it so you can F.. the City. Otherwise, do the right thing and live within your means, like many of us have to.
