Democrats were going to fight the redistricting in Texas. I didn’t expect much from them, given that they don’t fight very hard for “Democracy.” There are a few issues they make a lot of noise about, but other than those issues, they don’t fight for abstract things like voting rights.

I pulled out my crystal ball this morning and peered deep inside to read the future. What I saw was disappointing. I saw the Democratic State Representatives going like sheep toward the butchering block. That is what they have become, and I firmly believe that Gene Wu does not have what it takes to lead the Democratic Caucus in stopping the redistricting. All I await is his bull shit about why they had to do it the way that they did.
One of my uncles got arrested numerous times while fighting for his rights as a farm worker.
