Well, not her exact words of house niggers, but that is what it means, “Slave Mentality.”
I often refer to my own people as coconuts, brown on the outside and white on the inside. The equivalent of an Oreo, black on the outside and white on the inside. But I do think Jasmine Crockett may have explaining to do, ’cause I am almost 100% certain it will come back to bite her if she wins the Democratic primary.
The “Slave Mentality” Controversy
The remarks in question resurfaced recently when CNN’s Jake Tapper pressed Crockett on a Vanity Fair interview in which she compared the mindset of some Trump-supporting Latinos to a “slave mentality.”
It seems evident to me that Jaasmine Crockett does not understand the Hispanic Community, and it’s probably too late for her to get a crash course. Kinda it is okay for a black to refer to someone as a nigger, but not for me to do likewise.
Crockett pushed back on the characterization, telling Tapper her views were overstated in the article. She clarified that she was not referring to the entire Latino community, but rather expressing her confusion regarding specific voters who back Trump’s hardline immigration policies.
“No, and that’s not what that said at all, to be clear. It did not say that every Latino has that type of mentality,” Crockett said, defending her stance. “I don’t believe that the people that voted for Trump believe in what they’re actually getting.”
I guess it is okay if only some Latinos are house niggers?
Maybe I am being cruel, and I am wrong, perhaps she only meant that we are stupid. When I first came to Houston, that was my impression that the Blacks looked down on the Hispanic Community.
