Trying to figure out what a mad king is going to do next? Like the movie “Mission Impossible.”
It is impossible, as not even the mad king knows what he will do or say in an hour, a day, or two. All one can do is wait and see what actually happens. But I often wonder if the news media, or at least most of the news media, is as mad as the mad king. They keep pretending that his mind is sound, and they twist what he says to fool us into believing that we are not governed by a person who has lost his mind.
What kind of King would say, “Open the Fuckin’ Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell.”
Well, today is Tuesday, and I guess at 8 pm we will learn if we, the United States, will bomb Iran to hell, wherever that may be.
Maybe I am too cruel to men, and it could be that he is more like the mad queen in “Alice in Wonderland.”
The Queen of Hearts is a fictional character and the main antagonist in the 1865 book Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. She is a childish, foul-tempered monarch whom Carroll himself describes as “a blind fury”, and who is quick to give death sentences at even the slightest of offenses. One of her most famous lines is the oft-repeated “Off with his/her/their head(s)!”
… Alice observes three playing cards painting white roses red. They drop to the ground face down at the approach of the Queen of Hearts, whom Alice has never met. When the Queen arrives, along with the King and their ten children, and asks Alice who is lying on the ground (since the backs of all playing cards look alike), Alice tells her that she does not know. The Queen then becomes frustrated and commands that her head be chopped off. She is deterred by her comparatively moderate husband by being reminded that Alice is only a child.

Well, Trump does not have 10 children, and I don’t think too many people would describe Mal-ania as moderate. The coat she wore with the statement, “I really don’t care, do you?” describes her best, in my opinion.
Every morning, I wake up and say to myself, ” The world is still here, so Trump has not destroyed the world yet. Does he think about that? I think so; I would not put it past him to want the whole world to go with him.
Well, another day and the world is still here.
If you are interested in being appointed by Trump to a high-level position, the main qualification is that you be dingbat crazy, maybe more so than him.
