Israel Garcia chose to run and then spends 4 years, whining

I am sick and tired of whining. Trump has done it for eight years, and Like JP Garcia, he chose to run. If you don’t like it, don’t run for office.

There are two JPs in precinct 5. Together they handled about 300,000 cases.

Precinct 4 JPs handled about 250,000 cases that same year. That means there are four JPs, but I have only read about one whining about the caseload. Is it fair that the two JPs in Precinct 6 only work three hours daily for the same pay? No, it is not. But Garcia, I believe, does not live in Precinct 5, from research into his voting history and where his wife’s homestead is. So, he could have chosen to run in some other precinct, giving him more time to perform weddings.

If Israel Garcia thinks he is being overworked, then maybe he should consider that a 77-year-old former judge is running for the same position. That former judge may not complain about the workload and just be happy dispensing justice.

Lombardino said he considered himself retired but was convinced to run for the bench after hearing complaints about Garcia and the court’s docket backlog.

He received a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Houston and his law degree from South Texas College of Law. He is married and has two children.

Lombardino’s self-professed expertise is in clearing backlogs, and he said he wants to bring that experience to the court.

“I just want to get that court straightened up and then leave it to somebody younger,” he said.

Among the moves Lombardino said he wants to make is inviting Lone Star Legal Aid to help represent individuals in eviction cases.
