Gay person and a Black person, seek to oust a Latina-Lina Hidalgo.

Harris County, the land of the Mexican Crabs. So rest assured that the two Latinos (Briones and Garcia) there on the court are doing their part to help other communities take that seat away from a Latina.

Pull off the Black Democrats that support Hidalgo, pull off the LGBTQ Democrats that prefer people like them, and leave the Latina relying on Latino votes to get past the primary. Harris County is no place for Latinos to get into politics, at least not on the Democratic side of the equation. Not that the Republican is better, it is not, unless they are the perfect lapdog for the Gabachos.

Lina Hidalgo may not be perfect, but she is an ideal role model, certainly for young Latinas and Latinos. She is a fighter who fights for things she believes in, a commitment that surpasses that of any other Latino candidate in Harris County. We don’t have anyone like that currently elected in Harris County.

Our worst enemies are ourselves, the Latinos; look no further than Lesley Brioned and Adrian Garcia, constantly attacking Lina Hidalgo.

The loss of a congressional district represented by Sylvia Garcia is not a significant loss to the Hispanic Community. Gene Greene, a Gabacho, represented the 29th Congressional District for 20 years—a congressional district designed for a Latino.

Green received their endorsement, as well as that of State Senator John Whitmire, in his bid to be re-elected to represent Texas’ 29th Congressional District in the House of Representatives.

The race for Texas’ 29th Congressional District is heating up as former Harris County Sheriff Adrian Garcia recently announced his candidacy and incumbent Congressman Gene Green made a show of force on his own turf this week.

Sylvia Garcia and Carol Alvarado also supported Gene Greene against a Latino when Greene first ran and won the Congressional seat. So, no significant loss if that so-called 29th Hispanic congressional seat turns black or white in the future elections. After all, the so-called Latino leadership has already shown us that the color of one’s skin does not matter to them. So they need to quit their whining about our voices being taken away from us. They sold their voices years ago.

A fisherman returns to the dock, his bucket filled nearly to the brim with crabs. He puts the bucket down momentarily and another fisherman warns him to put a lid on it, lest some of the crabs escape. “Oh, don’t worry,” the fisherman replies. “They’re Mexican crabs. As soon as one starts to climb up, the others will pull him back down.” Source

  1. So very true. Please talk about the new congressional district 9. Will Hispanics vote for a Hispanic Independent over a white or black Democrat?

    1. I will start researching that area. I have not even read or heard of any Hispanic wanting to put their name on the ballot for Congress in that district, and from what I read, it is possible that a Hispanic could win, either as a Republican or a Democrat.
