The new logo of the recently renamed Houston Community College. I have to admit that the logo is nice. I hope that the new name and logo will help the college attract more students.
Below are the enrollment figures for the Spring of this year.

At one time, Houston Community College had the highest enrollment in the area, but years ago, they were eclipsed by Lone Star College.
Lone Star College (LSC) has an established Fall 2025 enrollment process with registration beginning in April 2025 and classes starting in August 2025. The Lone Star College System had a 7% increase in enrollment, with 91,349 students in the Spring 2025 semester, demonstrating a strong and growing student body.
Twice the size of Houston City College, whatever Lone Star College is doing, HCC is going not only to replicate but also to surpass.
Could it be cost?
The biggest difference between the two educational institutions comes in the form of tuition and fees: The Lone Star College System costs the average student $5,670 per year in fees while Houston Community College costs the average student $9,421 a year, nearly twice as much. Source
