BREAKING: ICE goons illegally choked out a US citizen 10th-grader, stole his cellphone after he filmed them, and then SOLD IT in a shocking show of GANGLAND behavior!
Arnoldo, a 16-year-old from Houston, Texas, was abruptly dropped off at his home after he and his undocumented father were arrested by ICE. His shirt was shredded, and his neck was heavily bruised.
ProPublica interviewed the family, and what they found was appalling.
“Uncertain what exactly had happened to him, his sister Maria Bazan took him to Texas Children’s Hospital, where staff identified signs of the chokehold and moved him to the trauma unit. Hospital records show he was given morphine for pain and that doctors ordered a dozen CT scans and X-rays, including of his neck, spine and head,” writes Nicole Foy and McKenzie Funk in their damning report on ICE’s widespread use of illegal chokeholds.
“Arnoldo had filmed much of the incident, but agents had taken his phone. He used Find My to locate the phone — at a vending machine for used electronics miles away, close to an ICE detention center,” making it clear that the agents had stolen his phone and then sold it for personal profit.
Arnoldo reported the incident to the Houston Police, who “were skeptical of the account and their own ability to investigate federal agents.” They have not contacted the family since.
The family says that DHS threatened to press charges against Arnoldo for “assault” against the ICE agents, because apparently, he elbowed them at one point while being CHOKED OUT, unless his father deported himself. He is now in Mexico, and Arnoldo is without his father.
Kristi Noem’s right-hand liar, Tricia McLaughlin, had the nerve to say “the federal law enforcement officer graciously chose not to press charges.”
Every day, we get a new show of shocking and wildly illegal behavior by Trump’s thugs, who are behaving like the gangs that Trump and the right-wing fearmongers over so frequently.
Just one of these incidents should be grounds for a top-to-bottom investigation and reforms in the department; their daily occurrence should be grounds for its entire dissolution and replacement with entirely new personnel, and criminal prosecutions for all accused of crimes against the American people.
