Anyhow, very short. In 2019, my average water bill a month was $75. Today, my average water bill runs on average $175 a month or higher. That’s a 233% increase in seven years. And yet our new mayor is going to add to our water bill. I could maybe understand it if our service is going to get better, but he hasn’t promised better service. I know the council members are going to fall in line because that’s what they do. They’re just petty little politicians; there are a few exceptions, but they’re petty politicians.
That’s why cities and states and our federal government get into all kinds of problems, because you have petty politicians who don’t do what’s best for their constituents, for their cities, for their state, for their counties, or for their country. Manuel Barrera, signing off. Meme.
